Google Apps for Students

All students are assigned Google Apps accounts prior to entering Westwood High School. This resource is used extensively to promote communication & collaboration as well as to help teachers create a personalized, flexible, and project-oriented learning environment. .

 

In addition to Google Apps accounts, each high school student is issued a Google Chromebook as part of our 1-1 program. Ubiquitous access to a computing device has allowed students to spontaneously research interesting ideas, partner in meaningful ways with their classmates, make better use of teacher feedback, and manage the organizational demands of a rigorous class schedule.
