COVID-19 Reporting and Testing Updates

 

As of 6/23, all Westwood residents are directed to contact the Westwood Public Health Department with any questions in regards to COVID and to report positive at-home Rapid Antigen results to Westwood Board of Health at 781-320-1027 or on their .

 

Staff members should report their positive results to The Board of Health in their home 探花视频.

 

Starting with this summer’s Extended School Year (ESY) Program, WPS school nurses will no longer be conducting COVID-19 testing in school settings. If a student presents with symptoms, nurses will conduct a health assessment and determine whether the individual should be dismissed. If any individual meets the criteria listed in the , it is recommended that they test for COVID-19 prior to coming to school. Testing is available at public testing facilities, medical offices, via at home with rapid antigen tests. In addition, though DESE is no longer providing tests for weekly distribution, the District has sufficient supply to provide an iHealth at-home rapid test kit upon request for symptomatic individuals.

 

Please note: The FDA has extended the expiration date for ALL iHealth rapid antigen test kits. Please use the following to determine new the expiration date for any test kits currently in your possession.
