The Westwood Athletic Department offers the following sports to Thurston Middle School students:

 

Fall

(Registration ~ May 1 - July 31)

 

Cross Country (co-ed, all grades)

Unified Basketball (a Special Olympic program partnering able-bodied athletes with athletes with disabilities.)  No fee.

All athletes must complete the steps 1 & 2 below in order to be cleared to participate in sports.  Step 3 (payment) must be completed before the first game/meet.

 

1.  Registration:  All athletes must register for sports by clicking the registration button below.  Please be prepared to upload a valid physical for your student during registration.

2.  Physicals:  All athletes must maintain a current physical on file with the school nurse, Ms. Baker.  Physicals are valid for 13 months from the date of the physical.  Updated sports physicals may be uploaded by logging into FamilyID and accessing the student's current registration.  Doctor's notes are not a substitute for actual documentation of a physical.

3.  AthleticFee:  Please do not pay the fee until the season starts.  Please register (above) BEFORE you pay your athletic fee.  Middle school athletic fees are $155/student per sport with the exception of Football which is $310/student.  Unified Basketball has no fee.  Click on the Unipay button below to pay online.  Online payment is preferred but for those requiring payment by check, please send a check made out to 探花视频s to:  WHS Athletics--Martha Laughna, 200 Nahatan St., Westwood
